Guide
1. Are you trying to adjust relative humidity or purify the air?
(Retail, Restaurant/Hospitality/Entertainment, Office Building, Hospital/Lab, Data Center, School, Nursing Home/Care Facility, Manufacturing)
2. Status of the facility?
under construction, complete (equipment down or missing) or supplemental (cooling for a specific space or task)
3. Square footage and ceiling height of the space?
4. What conditions are they trying to create?
(Requested RH levels and or air changes)
5. What power is available, specifically volts/phase and amps?
Distance from power location to proposed unit location. Will tails, extension cords or cable ramps be required?
Construction Drying
Typical Construction RH = 35%-55%
1 ton can cool/lower relative humidity = 400-1000 Square feet
When calculating coverage for Dehumidifiers (Drymax XLs) – 800-1000 sqft per Dehumidifier
Air flow is key – more air movement the better – Use box or drum fans with units
Example Axis Unit Trane 3.5 ton = 3500 to 4000 Square feet, roll in space, turn on, run condensate drain line – will lower your RH to almost 50%
50% RH is usually the key for building materials to drying quickly, (drywall, paint, concrete, fireproofing, wood framing)
Air Change Calculation
Length X Width X Height = Cubic Square Feet
Cubic Square Feet / 60 = CFM needed for one air change
General Air Quality = 2 to 3 air changes per hour recommended
Mold Remediation = 4+ air changes per hour
Example – Air Quality Project – 100 x 75 x 18 ceiling height = 135,000 Cubic / 60 = 2250
2250 CFM needed for one air change, now multiple by 3 = 6750 CFM needed
Standard Delivery:
$150 for 45 Mile Delivery
$150 for 45 Mile Pickup
$300 Total Cost
Extended Delivery:
$150 for 45 Mile Delivery
$150 for 45 Mile Pickup
+ $5.00 Per Mile Over 45 Miles
Delivery Example: Destination is located 100 miles from the branch.
$150 (45 Mile Standard) + $275 (55 Extended Miles x $5.00) = $425 Delivery Cost
$150 (45 Mile Standard) + $275 (55 Extended Miles x $5.00) = $425 Pickup Cost
$850 Total Cost
After Hours Delivery:
+ $250 On top of Standard Delivery Fees.
